In this operation which can be administered under local anesthesia in 30 minutes first minor lips are anaesthetized and then labia minora is reduced so that it will not get loose between the labia majora. Stiches which will resolve in time are used in the surgery.

What is the pre-operative recovery process?

Labia minora operation takes 30 minutes. Patients can leave the hospital in 1-2 hours after the operation. Patients are prescribed antibiotics and painkillers. Patient can take a shower after 24 hours and can move on their social and business life the next day. Physical activity is not advised before 1 week at the earliest. Stitches will disappear in 2-3 weeks and patients can have sexual intercourse.

What is labiaplasty?

Especially in thin patients, labia majora gets loose due to aging as well.Fluctuations in body weight and aging can cause labia majora to sag or lose their volume. Therefore, clitoris cannot be covered with labia minora and labia majora, revealing an unaesthetic appearance. Fluctuations in body weight and overweight can cause labia majora to sag or gain extra volume. Labiaplasty is preferred to fix such problems.

How is labiaplasty administered?

The aim of labiaplasty is to help labia majora to gain volume. In this vein, fat obtained from another part of the body is injected into labia majora. Labiaplasty is administered under local anesthesia and mostly does not require stitches. Patients can have sexual intercourse a week after the surgery. If labia major is loose or sagging, their volume can be reduced with liposuction and/or surgical intervention while the sagging is restored.

What is aesthetic pubic surgery?

Pubis is the name given to the rounded eminence under the belly. Aging can cause this area to lose its stretch and rigid appearance with a sagging, empty look and losing its elasticity. The most frequent complaint is the fat deposition in this area. Complaints about fat deposition can be solved by applying liposuction treatment. In case of sagging in the pubis area, removing excessive skin and lifting the area can be used. This surgery will leave a scar similar to the cesarean section scar and administered under local anesthesia. The patient can move on his/her normal life in two days following the operation.
